NW Elite Football teams receive Presidential Grants.

The echoes of a hilarious and fanfare participation of the NW representatives at the 2019 national interpools for tickets into the male elite 2 championship and the female division one championship have continued to pull wrinkles in exchange for joy.
In recognition of these exploits, North West governor, Adolphe Lele Lafrique, chaired an official ceremony recently to reward them for making the region proud and bringing smiles in the midst of crisis. Cash prizes of 1.000,000 CFA frs each were dished to Foncha Street FC and Vision sports in the male and female division 1 and 2 championship. The governor hinted that it "is a special gift from the head of state in recognition of your outstanding role in the interpools".
The teams through their respective captains did not fail to table a challenge which they insist is a culmination of all their cries.The well known song of the desire to get a pitch was once more re-echoed. Considering that the region has no training pitch or field they hinted the desire to see the present-day Mankon municipal stadium rehabilitated or a pitch constructed. It should be noted this is not the first time the worry is tabled. During the Tombi Aroko era the same was raised where it is reported funds were released for the job , but work died before its execution.
Reacting to the subject Adolphe Lele Lafrique told the press:"Inspection and deliberation meetings have been held to choose a favourable site for creation and usage". He further said: "The criteria for establishment is security first". Considering that the above brilliant results recorded came from participants whose region has no pitch, many locals have been questioning what will happen when they get a pitch.
It should be noted the NW is supposed to play host to the 2019/2020 FENASCO games with many questioning where the events shall unravel.
