Solar panels to light Foumbot.

In an effort to support development at the grass roots, the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance, FEICOM, has installed solar panels to light the community of Foumbot in the West Region of the Country. The panels that cost over FCFA 168 Million will light 105 streets of the municipality. The installation comes as a relief to the regular power cuts that the town has witnessed of late. This followed the report of a study which revealed that the city was highly hit by blackouts. The project has been funded by the German government, through the German Development Fund.
