Taking over command of Mbengwi at a time when security as well as social tension had previously hit the area Sakwe Jarvis Esapa is said to bring along in- house techniques and administrative savvy to which he holds in the days ahead.
Taking over command at the Mbengwi municipal grandstand Sakwe Jarvis is said to join Benoit Etaba Fouda (now SDO) all of whom are said to be full of youthful exuberance with the latter previously occupying the role of Divisional Officer.
To this the 37-year-old told The Horizon: "My primordial objective is to bring back to normalcy the previous state of livelihood. This will involve assurance and reassurance, administrative schemes. By this they will know we can work again as one person. Congruently, the prevalence of boundary disputes emanating from farmer-grazier conflicts alike, the bike riders’ sector, urban transport sectors will hopefully see transformation with the population inclusive in the administrative approach". To our brothers in the bushes "it is my prior objective to in all measures ascertain their hitch-free return to civilian life while keeping close ties with traditional and religious authorities so we can work for a one and indivisible Cameroon."
Presiding over the ceremony, Momo SDO, Benoit Etaba Fouda Nicaise, told the appointee: "Stay focused on the provision of decree of 2008/377 bearing on the attribution of administrative authorities, take care of the sub-division as a good father and to achieve these goals ensure the security of all peoples, revamp vigilante groups and ensure peace through works with auxiliaries of administration in both the religious and traditional spheres."
For her part, the mayor of Mbengwi in whose municipality multiple atrocities were recorded in post 2018 and pre 2019 era noted: schools have been shut down, markets barely functional, students and teachers a perpetual target by seperatist fighters, ghost towns and multiple desertions of abodes by locals for search of security ".
However, contrary to other municipalities in the region, the population had chosen to operate without GHOST town calls, an indication of a fruitful era.
Optimism further boiled at refreshments when Momo Chief scribe, DO, mayor and heads of services joined in a one of its kind open-floor dance which depicted celebration and hope for a new dawn.
