Since its creation in 2006, Hereg has embarked on a plethora of operational research and the evaluation of projects in the health sector as well as organised workshops, training serminars, Alfred young said.
HEREG’s activities centre mostly on monitoring, evaluation and implementation of projects. HEREG has also carried out a mid-term evaluation of the ministry of public health, UNFPA and UNICEF in the East region of Cameroon and PBF performance base financing. Hereg is also in partnership with one project with the University of California, on the fortification of vitamin A, amongst other projects, he said.
