Mayor of Mbanga passes away.

The CPDM Mayor of Mbanga in the Moungo Division, Littoral region of Cameroon has died few days to the launch of the campaigns ahead of the February twin elections.

Lembe Mbappe, incumbent ahead of the municipal elections for the Mbanga Council reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday January 21,2020.

It is not clear what caused his sudden death but sources say he might have suffered from a malaise after chairing a crucial council meeting.
