Tragedy hits Senator Dingha Ignatius! Bloody accident kills son, Magistrate Dingha, and family.
Magistrate Dingha Alain Kanmi, son of Senator Dingha Ignatius Bayin, and four members of his family have died in a ghastly accident.
The accident occurred at 3 am on Friday January 24, 2020 at the Nlongkak-vallée crossroad in Yaounde.
The five victims are; Magistrate Dingha, his pregnant wife, the couple’s two-year-old son and the Magistrate’s father-in-law.
The family is said to have been returning from the wake of Magistrate Alain Dingha’s paternal grandfather which took place on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
Upon arrival at the Nlongkak-vallée crossroad from Bastos, all the occupants of a Toyota Yaris were crushed by an oncoming truck speeding towards the Nlongkak roundabout.
The Truck in question carries the registration number OU 858 AX .
According to reports, the hit-and-run truck driver fled, but was intercepted some minutes later at the Nlongkak roundabout.
The mortal remains of the victims are lying at the Yaounde Central hospital mortuary, and investigations into the tragic incident are ongoing.
