During this outing from February 3 to 7, 2020, placed under the theme “elected leaders of integrity for a prosperous Cameroon, stakeholders of the electoral process were drilled on the role they have to play in preventing corruption during the campaign and on the day of vote, in view of electing leaders of integrity, part of the press release reads.
The CONAC Chairman further informed the public of the putting in place of a unit and a toll-free number that would receive complaint on acts of corruption in the course of the electoral process. “CONAC has set up an “Elections Watch Unit” to receive denunciations of corrupt practices related to the February 06 twin election.
