Enow Abrams says ELECAM ready to organize regional elections.

The president of the Electoral Board of Elections Cameroon (ELECAM) Mr. Enow Abrams Egbe, has unequivocally declared ELECAM‘s readiness in organizing Regional Elections in the country.
He made the declaration last Tuesday 18 February 2020, during an Electoral Board meeting held at the ELECAM headquarters in Yaounde, aimed at evaluating and assessing the twin elections of January 9, 2020.
'’’ If the 9th Febraury 2020, legislative and municipal Elections can be described as constituting major challenges notably in line with an effective implementation of the decentralization process as enacted by Government ,the upcoming Regional elections announced by the president of the Republic is already lurking on the horizon .It is worth nothing that this will be the first elections of its kind and which means we don’t have to spare our efforts ,for we must without any delay get back to work,” the seasoned senior civil administrator Abrams Egbe remarked.
It was an occasion for the Board chair to laud the professional abilities and outstanding dynamism demonstrated by the Managing Director of ELECAM, Dr Erik Essousse, and his electrifying team in successfully organizing the recent 9 Febraury 2020, twin elections.“A well merited bravo, to the Managing Director of ELECAM, Dr. Erik ESSOUSSE, and his Deputy Mr. ABDOULKARIMOU, for their amazing leadership abilities leading to efficiency and the respect of the deadline scheduled for the polls,” Mr. Abrams noted.
He lauded the efforts made by the government of Cameroon to ensure peace and stability during the just-ended polls, as well as the strive made by media men and women for the salient coverage of the campaigns and the 9 Febraury2020 polls .
