Buea-based artistes produce single to promote living together.
Buea-based artist, Mbeng Julie Ike, known with the stage name as Jaye has dropped a new single in the market.
After her hit single ‘Un genre Un genre’ that announced her arrival on the stage, Jaye comes with Amio this time around to preach social cohesion among Cameroonians. The song centres around a Cameroonian lady who falls in love with a guy from a region other than hers much to the dislike of their parents using a modern-day blend of Cameroonian rhymes, and tapping from the rhythms of the early 80s Jaye succeeds to pass across a message of love without borders and extending a hand to each other no matter where we come from.
The 20-year-old and her team are presently working on the video of the song with first images showing her, vixens, dancers, and others come out with this amazing old-fashioned costume from the 80s.
Amio has been widely received by Jaye’s numerous fans who are now as her tour across the country which has been announced for the weeks ahead.
