North West: Commercial motorcycle riders cannot be separated from atrocities committed – Paul Atanga Nji.

Paul Atanga Nji, minister of territorial administration, has linked commercial motorcycle riders in the North West to atrocities committed by Amba boys.

In a crucial security meeting on Friday March 13th in Bamenda, the minister of territorial administration set the 17th of March 2020 as deadline for all commercial motorcycle riders to have all their identification documents. Failure to do so, Paul Atanga Nji warned, they would face the heavy hand of the law.

To Paul Atanga Nji, the security measure is to ensure a hitch free parliamentary election rerun in the North West region of Cameroon on the 22nd of March.

The region has been a scene of terror with separatist fighters and the military seen as the main vectors of insecurity.
