Mama Nguea makes first public appearance.
Ace Makossa singer Nguea la Route has returned to normal service after successfully being amputated of her two legs.
She had been bed-ridden for months and written off by many but the star singer returned to the scene last weekend where she graced some drinking and entertainment spots on women’s day.
After leaving hospital on March 5, the singer was not put off by the new situation as she returned to the stage last Sunday to thrill her fans to some of her legendary songs in her repertoire .On her wheel chair, Nguea La Route rolled back the years much to the appreciation of fans who came out in their numbers to show gratitude with others gratifying her for her performances.
The artiste used the occasion to call for the public to support her in this difficult moment and said she would continue to do what she loves best in order to earn a living.
It should be recalled that the artiste has been in the hospital where she had her two legs amputated at the end of 2019 with the Minister of Arts and Culture sending financial assistance to help settle her bills in the hospital.
Other female artistes led by Nicole Mara had equally launched an operation to collect funds to help their ailing colleague.
