Committees set up to re-shape Kumba.

Some 5 Committees have been created at the City Council to transform the Town into a Modern Urban Metropolis.
The Committees were put in place during a session at the City Council hall, held on Thursday, March 10th 2020 under the watchful eyes of the 1St Assistant S.D.O for Meme, Nguime Joseph.
The 5 Committees that were created had the support of the entire 75 Municipal Councils of the 3 Councils in Kumba which are Kumba I, II, and III. Although those who were designated to head the Committees as well as Members were jointly proposed by the 3 Sub-Divisional Council Mayors and forwarded to the City Mayor.
Barrister Andy Tabi is the Head of the Resolution and Motions Committee with Henry Tabot as the Secretary General. Eyong Elias is the Chair of the Social and Economic Committee, Mrs Oben Serah heads the Social and Education Committee with Nana Gladys Shalo as Secretary General while Fofuh Martin is heading the Economic Promotion Committee with Secretary Bello Mohammed and John Egbe Taken is Chair of the Finance Committee with Epande Robinson as Secretary.
Prior to the creation of Committees, Victor Ngoh Nkelle , Kumba City Mayor, said he was elated for the first time working with 75 Councilors who are from his party. He said now is the time to work and that his doors are wide open for credible ideas to be shared in a bid to develop Kumba.
To the people of Kumba, Ngoh Nkelle said much is owed to them and now is the time for action. He promised to do much better now than before since he would be working with Municipal Councillors from his Party with developmental ideas.
The heavily attended session was coordinated by the Secretary General of the Council, Arrey Nkongho Charles.
