Minister Mbayu confident of CPDM victory after casting vote.
Felix Mbayu, minister delegate at the ministry of external relations in charge of the Commonwealth, has said he remains confident the ruling CPDM will carry the day again in his Bamenda-Bali constituency when results of the legislatives reruns are declared.
He expressed the confidence yesterday in Bamenda after casting his vote for the rerun.
Mbayu said he had come out to cast his vote as a respecter of state institutions and challenged his constituents to come out en masse and perform one of their civic duties in the interest of peace and development.
“Casting our vote is a sign of our belief in our republican institutions,” he said
He paid glowing tribute to the military for without discrimination, transporting even supporters of their opponents to their constituencies.
“Permit me to thank our forces of law and order for creating the environment for us to vote.…I have seen them provide security in the most impartial manner. I have seen them transport militants of our opponents”, he said.
