Ntambang Brothers donate COVID-19 preventive kits in Bamenda.
A group of boys based in Old Town Bamenda known as Ntambang Brothers has called on the population of Old town to strictly adhere to preventive measures prescribed by government.
In a door- to-door sensitization campaign to fight Corona virus carried out on Thursday 16th,2020, Ntambang Brothers donated Preventive Hygiene kits to the community of Ntambang I,II and III. These hygiene kits comprised buckets, soap, hand sanitizers and face masks.
Mr. Ndimbu Polycarp, President of Ntambag Brothers, disclosed to the press that they have made available 1000 masks to fight this deadly virus in their community.
He urged members of the community to make sure they wear the mask and wash their hands regularly, adding that some 500 hand sanitizers have already been produced with more underway.
The Quarter head of Ntambag I, Peter Ndimbu who benefitted from the largesse of the Ntambag Brothers lauded the initiative which he said would go a long way to help them combat the virus.
Paul Foncham was the second beneficiary. He thanked the donors and promised to spread the good news gathered through the sensitization by encouraging others to ensure strict respect of the basic hand washing rules.
A health personnel, Dr Leke Atemnkeng Boduin, Medical Doctor at the Ntambag Integrated Health Centre, pledged on behalf of his staff to put the resources in place and ensure they are used for the purpose for which it was intended and ensure Old Town community is not affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
