Barrister Nico Halle Ntumfor Nico Halle has made the case for the Cameroonian media’s budget to be voted by Parliament each year if it has to be a great asset to the nation. He made this advocacy in a word of encouragement to the Cameroonian media on the occasion of the 2020 World press freedom Day. He hailed the press for its “resilience in fighting corruption, embezzlement, bribery, violence, fraud, election rigging, favoritism, graft, hate, bad governance, mudslinging, hypocrisy, falsehood, cover ups, in short moral decadence in all its forms.” Following is the statement in its entirety:
