Tsimi Toro recovers from COVID-19
Tsimi Toro recovers from COVID-19.
Cameroonian artiste Tsimi Toro has successfully recovered from the COVID-19 after spending several weeks in a hospital in Rouen, France. The artiste was in critical condition since the start of last month when he went into coma and had to breathe with the use of respirators.
However, family members said his recovery has been progressive, as he came out of coma on April 7 before gradually being treated of the other symptoms.
He is now undergoing a fourteen-day observation still in the Hospital as doctors declared he could now breathe without the use of respirators as was the case when he was infected.
A family member, Patrice Towa, said they are now waiting to get clearance from the hospital to return home after recovering from the symptoms of the virus. “It has been a long journey back to recovery but I thank God I am now fine and I hope I can return to my daily activities soon”, the artiste said.
He equally took time on his social media accounts to thank all those who stood by him in what he described as “difficult moments”, and hoped all those who have been affected by the virus would equally recover as he had done. This is the latest battle Tsimi Toro is overcoming after surviving from a road accident back in 2010.
