The dangers of "over-the-counter" Succession Les dangers de la succession de gre-à-gre

The dangers of "over-the-counter" Succession: Les dangers de la succession de gre-à-gre.

01. Ever since Mr. Paul Biya was announced dead by social media activists, a 5th Column of power hungry bureaucrats has taken over the governance of La Republique du Cameroun that has absolutely no political or constitutional legitimacy. They have avoided the official announcement of the death of Mr. Biya in order not to trigger the constitutional process of succession stated in the 1996 constitution.

Why they are not announcing Biya's death

02. The main obstacle to the official announcement is that no one knows how the funeral will take place or where the deceased head of state will be buried. He cannot be buried in Yaounde because the Grand Nord will insist on the repatriation of the body of the late President Ahmadou Ahidjo and a state funeral for Ahidjo before anyone will accept any formal state burial of Paul Biya.

03. The second reason why he cannot be buried in Yaounde is because Paul Biya does not own any house where his funeral can be commemorated.  Furthermore the Ewondo people may not want to host the funeral of someone considered a criminal and no foreign dignitary will come to the funeral of the man behind the Ngarbuh massacre of 14th February 2020.

04. The only place where Mr. Biya can be buried is in his home village of Mvomeka’a. The only problem is that if Biya is to buried in Mvomekaa, no one will show up there.

05. The third reason why they don't want to announce his death is that it can trigger a coup d'etat from any group that has guts. If that happens then Cameroon will be plunged into total chaos and only foreign intervention can bring an end to the chaos because the whole country will be brought under UN trusteeship all over again.

06. It is because of the perceived repercussions of the public announcement of the death of President Biya that the guardians of the temple have chosen to maintain a tight lid on the truth and to pretend that the absence of President Biya does not signify that there is anything wrong with the ship of state, let alone with the captain himself.

07. As the Chairman of the Briscam Freedom Party, which is the only political party that speaks for and on behalf of the Southern Cameroons, it is my duty to provide clarification on the position of the people of the Southern Cameroons regarding the succession problems of La Republique du Cameroun.

Southern Cameroons neutrality to Succession.

08. First of all let me make it very clear that the Southern Cameroons are not concerned by succession in La Republique du Cameroun. The Southern Cameroons shall not participate in any elections to choose a new President for La Republique du Cameroun.

09. We know that any attempt to drag the Southern Cameroons into another fraudulent election shall be preceded by the same campaign of killings as we saw recently in Ngarbuh. Consequently, the people of the Southern Cameroons have a duty to start preparing themselves against another killing campaign.

10. But we reserve the right to satisfy ourselves that the process of choosing a successor is conducted in a manner that guarantees that it will result in a new President who has popular legitimacy and credibility amongst the people of La Republique du Cameroun.

11.  The reason is because the people of the Southern Cameroons want the successor of President Paul Biya to be someone with whom they can negotiate an end to the armed conflict based on principles including the conduct of a referendum in Southern Cameroons in order to enable the people to decide on their future.

Dangers of conflict over succession

12. Finally in the event of armed conflict between political factions in La Republique du Cameroun, it is expected that law and order shall collapse completely. However the people of the Southern Cameroons shall remain neutral while enhancing their state self defence preparedness.

13. However, things may deteriorate to a stage where indigenes of the Southern Cameroons resident in La Republique may have to return to their own homeland for their own safety. Similarly, indigenes of La Republique du Cameroun in Southern Cameroons may have to return to their own regions of origin in La Republique du Cameroun for their own safety.

Advice in the event of conflict

14. In the meantime the Briscam Freedom Party advises that people on both sides should ensure that the safekeeping of the following documents :

1. Birth certificates

2. Marriage Certificates

3. Phocopies of driver’s licence

4. Photocopies of vehicle particulars

3. Land Ceriticates

4. School Certificates

5. Academic Degrees and documents

6. Personal and family valuables

15. When the time comes the  Briscam Freedom Party shall issue an advisory to everyone. Please note that certain embassies have already started evacuating their citizens to their home countries.

16. Take this message very seriously because a word to the wise is enough and it is always better to me safe than sorry.
