CBC Executive President’s DAD laid to rest at 88.

"If wishes were horses then truly beggars would be riders".This term in modern day life has appeared to reflect just the frustration with which many have tried to effortlessly rewind the hands of the clock even to their own dismay.It turned out to be an issue of “how I wished" as family members, friends, relatives, colleagues and Christians of the CBC turned out to pay tribute to a man who had in his former days waxed strong in his discharge of family duties. Bobe Enock Ncham who was born to Nini Paulina Nicheng and Bobe Nchiang Chahtoh was the first of 3 children and lone boy to his parents. A man who is said to have lived his early days despite sad conditions as a farmer and a Christian in all times. He is said to have surrendered his life to Christ and rededicated to his service in 1999 and was very active and served GOD in various capacities. His endless and unquenchable thirst for God warranted him to have been a one time song leader, drummer, deacon, and lately was the treasurer of Wombong CBC church. Being a farmer, Bobe Enock spent his life in the farms working very hard from diverse fronts. He had farms in the Njamchi, Baichi and Ichinilu areas of the Njinikom village.
To the CBC Executive President indeed "an Iroko tree has fallen. He was a resilient man, who taught us never to stop daring but in all things and all pursuits show love for one another. He was a man of vision whose eyes into the spirit in pursuit of latter day realities cannot be bemoaned. I will never forget the day I told him I wanted to go to the seminary and he told me "so you have chosen to be singing, give cheerfully,and collecting ten ten francs". This rhetoric would have meant a destiny diversion but having raised me to love GOD I chose to dare into GOD’s vineyard regardless of all odds.
Conclusively the farmer who is said to have been so clone to the saying the ground never fails has seen his own words manifest as he too has seen not just the sting of death but been swallowed by the same unfailing ground.
