Paul Biya postpones Higher Judicial Council session to Monday August 10.
The Higher Judicial Council, initially scheduled to hold today, has been postponed to Monday August 10.
A release made public on Tuesday August 4 by the Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, announced the postponement but did not elaborate.
But there are speculations that the deferment has to do with the holding today in Yaounde by video conference of 2020 session of the African Caucus of Governors of the World Bank Group and IMF to be chaired by Alamine Ousmane Mey, MINEPAT boss, under the patronage of President Paul Biya.
The HJC is slated to hold at the conference room of the Presidency of the Republic at 12noon.
