New executive for Bandjoun Council installed
New executive for Bandjoun Council installed.
Mayor Maptue Fotso Nicky Love, recently elected to the Pate-Bandjoun council, has confidently told the population of her area that she is ready to provide a better framework in which Bandjoun Subdivision will move towards a more equitable approach that will meet the hopes of the population in sustainable development.
Maptue Fotso was speaking in Bandjoun August 3, 2020, at the end of a dual ceremony of oath-taking and installation ceremonies of the new council executive, after the passing away of the former mayor, business magnate Fotso Victor, last February 25, 2020.
The two ceremonies, rich in colour, quality of personalities and cultural manifestations and attendance, gave the new CPDM party standard bearer in the Bandjoun Council the confidence that the population is vigorously behind them.
During the final installation phase, the SDO for Koungkhi, Um Donatien, invited Mayor Maptue Fotso; 1st deputy, Kenne David; 2nd deputy, Forkoua Helenne; 3rd deputy, Polla Jacques and;, 4th deputy, Abraham Sassum, to garner sufficient energy to bring development to Bandjoun.
