2020 Public Service exams: Orals to hold by video conference.
Orals of various public service exams written in 2020 will hold by video conference in respect of the Covid-19 barrier measures, the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms has said.
The organization of Public Service exams for the 2020 session was one of the major items of discussions at the weekend during a meeting that brought together all the ten regional delegates of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, which was chaired by Minister Joseph LE.
Presiding over the meeting at the conference room of the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Minister Joseph LE appreciated the conduct of exams that have already taken place so far in strict respect of the Covid-19 measures. However, for those still to come, he tasked his collaborators to ensure the process goes on smoothly from the registration to the final exams in strict respect of the barrier measures.
As a means of minimizing the spread of the Covid-19 at all costs, Minister Le and the ten Regional Delegates all looked at the various ways through which the phase of exams will hold while remaining efficient, effective, professional and ensuring the best candidates are finally retained.
The meeting was also an opportunity to go through the various administrative innovations which have been put in place to simplify access to the public service by users.
Minister Le tasked his collaborators to ensure sure practices are implemented at full length in order to improve on service delivery and give a new experience to public service users across the country. Works at some regional delegations under construction were also put under the microscope with the Regional Delegates concerned providing an update on the progress.
