Another teacher shot dead in Bamenda!
Another teacher shot dead in Bamenda!
Mr Njamnshi Nelson, a long-time High School teacher, was shot dead in Bamenda allegedly by separatist fighters in the evening of August 18, 2020.
According to his brother-in-law, he went to collect his daughter who had just finished writing the GCE examination for the day.
As they were driving back, Njamnshi was stopped in his car by the fighters who tried to seize his daughter.
He was shot and fatally wounded by the armed men after he tried to stop them from taking his daughter away.
Mr Njamnshi died in hospital in Bamenda the same evening.
The fighters are reported to have then driven Njamnshi's car away while his daughter managed to flee back to the GCE examination centre.
By the time the military arrived at the scene, the fighters had already fled in Njamnshi's car.
