A few days ago, thousands of furious Americans stormed the streets calling for justice after a 29-year-old black man – Jacob Blake – was unpityingly shot at seven times by the police. Similar waves of demonstrations were held across the United States of America and other parts of the world following the sadistic murder of Georges Floyd some few weeks back.
These spontaneous protests are however inconsistent with the atrocities committed by secessionist fighters in the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon.
Who wasn’t petrified with the obnoxious butchering of an innocent woman – mother of four – in Muyuka?
Are Americans, especially those working at the U.S. Embassy in Yaounde, aware that the ringleaders of these heinous crimes are stationed in their homeland?
It is outright hypocrisy to condemn killings of blacks in America while you shamelessly put a blind eye on the killings of blacks in the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon.
Be brave enough America. Stop the double standards.
You can stop the killings in Cameroon with the arrest of terrorists like *Sako Ikome* , *Chris Anu* , *Tapang Ivo* , *Eric Tataw* etc. – who are walking freely in your land with the blood of thousands of Cameroonians.
