Deputy Director of Forestry School is new Chief of Kack Village
Deputy Director of Forestry School is new Chief of Kack Village.
HRH Chief Mbong Walter Mesumbe has been designated as the new chief of kack- Muasundem in Tombel Sub-division of Kupe-Muanenguba Division.
The designation took place in Kack village on Friday August 28th by the kingmakers of Kack village and confirmed by the Divisional Officer of Tombel on Saturday 29th August 2020.
Chief Mbong Walter who is the number 5 chief of Kack takes over from the late father Chief Isaac Koge Mesumbe who passed on to eternal glory in April 2019.
Chief Mbong Walters is the deputy director of the National School of Forestry in Mbalmayo, a staunch and frontline CPDM militant and Chargé de mission of several CPDM assignments in the Kupe Muanenguba 3 Section, Tombel. The new chief has a track leadership record in leading his people:
-President of the Bakossi All Students Union (BASU) in his University Student Days
-President of the Muasundem Cultural and Developmental Association (MUADAC) Yde branch for 10 years
-Secretary General of the Kupe Muanenguba Cultural and Development Association (KUMUACUDA) Yde branch for 6 years
-Current President of the Tombel Cultural and Development Association (TACUDA ) Yde branch etc.
At the church level, the new chief has gone through various leadership positions :
-Former President of the Christian Youth Fellowship Movement (CYF) of PCC Nsimeyong Yde
-Former Vice President of the Christian Men Fellowship (CMF) Movement of PCC Nsimeyong Yde.
-Presently he is serving as an Elder at PCC Nsimeyong Yde.
At the administrative level, Chief M.W. Mesumbe has held the following leadership positions :
-Private Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic
-Private Secretary in the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife
-Assistant Research Officer at the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife
-Presently, he is the Deputy Director at the National Forestry School in Mbalmayo.
This is the man with such a great leadership record in various walks of life who has been designated to lead his people.
