Regional delegates, service heads: New blood injected

Regional delegates, service heads: New blood injected.

Newly appointed regional delegates and service heads in the Littoral Region have been installed into their functions.

The installation ceremony that took place on August 28, 2020 at the conference hall of the Littoral Governor’s Office was an opportunity for the new delegates to pledge their commitment to serve the public and foster the fight against corruption in their different services. Out of the 14 new delegates only one was a lady in the person of Balla Ngono Marie Berthe to the head the Regional Delegation of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.

While installing the new delegates, the Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua, cautioned them to fight against inertia and give a positive image of their different services. The governor took time off to assign specific duties to the newly installed as per their line of work. Late coming, non-respect of closing hours, poor reception of the population, demand for money before rendering services and a lot more are gradually taking centre stage in most government services in the Region. In effect, the governor called on all the service heads to put an end to such. He cautioned them not to lose focus towards achieving their goals. He said it was high time they all put hands on deck to foster the development of the Littoral region.

One of the newly installed, Mr Eta Napoleon Tanyi, new Commercial Director of MATGENIE Douala, disclosed that he would do his best to work towards the growth of his service. He said it was high time mayors within the region contacted his service to collect equipment to keep their municipalities clean. He said his office is always open for contractors and other stakeholders to collect equipment for road construction. He promised to do his best to ensure the growth of MATGENIE.
