Two kids die after consuming poisoned food meant for Kumba lady’s lover
At least two kids have become victims of a revenge mission embarked upon by a jealous Kumba lady. They are reported to have died after allegedly consuming poisoned food the lady had prepared to take away the life of her boyfriend for threatening to quit the relationship.
The incident took place in Akala street Monday morning.
“Four of the children consumed the meal, two of them died on the way to the hospital while two others are receiving treatment, ” a witness who resides in Akala is quoted as recounting.
The deceased kids are aged 4 and 7 while those under medical observation are 9 and 12 years old, we gathered.
The suspect has been apprehended.
She is currently being detained at a police station.
“Everyone here is accusing her, she added poison to a meal she prepared with the aim of killing the father of the two deceased kids – who happens to be her boyfriend. The boy, a bike rider, had threatened to quit the relationship, that was her own revenge tactic, ” recounted our sources.
