For donating more didactic materials: Bafaw parents laud Nfon Mukete Ekoko's initiative

Parents of the Bafaw clan in Kumba, Meme Division of the South West Region, have expressed their gratitude to the paramount ruler of the Bafaws and kumba, Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko, for donating again another consignment of didactic materials to some Bafaw children and two orphanages.
They were speaking during the donation of didactic materials for back-to-school to their children last Saturday October 17th in the Nfon's Palace.
The students and pupils who were drawn from pre-nursery to secondary schools were very happy to return to school with their needs.
According to one of the parents Mr Eseme James whose four children benefited from the chief’s gesture of didactic materials said Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko's vision in the lives of these children is a timely intervention, coming at a time when parents are faced with school resumption challenges and COVID-19 pandemic.
..."When the righteous rule, the people rejoice but when the wicked rule, the people perish"....said Eseme James, an illustrious son of the Bafaws who gave a powerful and brief address before the ceremony proper. He said what their children have received is going to go long way to help them for the start of the new academic year.
The materials included; books, school bags, pens, pencils, rulers, math sets, amongst others.
Talking to the press after the donations His Majesty Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko, revealed that he was touched by the power of the Holy Spirit, especially at this time when the children in the two Anglophone regions have been at home for close to four years without going to school.
He however disclosed that, as long as he remains the paramount ruler in Kumba he would always be there for his people, adding that the exercise will continue to be a yearly affair.
Nfon Ekoko narrated that, even though he is starting with the Bafaw children, from next year all the Kumba children will be part of the exercise as they will all benefit.
Meanwhile in the second day of donation which was aimed at ensuring that no one is left out, the children all received books, pens, pencils amongst others.
The largesse this time was extended to the home of the underprivileged children where two orphanages namely Azi Orphanage and Frantek each benefited from the royal gifts.
To Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko, there is joy in giving and he urged all who have the heart to give to continue reaching to the less privileged.
He thanked the K town association in Atlanta United states for their wonderful gift of a medicalised ambulance to the Kumba District hospital. For him, the gesture has never been this timely.
