Anglophone struggle at cross roads: Fresh can of worms opened up on leadership!

If the Anglophone revolution which gave hope for the ‘freedom’ of the people of the North West and South West from what was alleged to be oppression and assimilation from Francophone power is on the verge of collapse today, leadership has been one of its banes.

Infighting and rude battle for recognition among the various groups within the struggle wee initially identified as spanners in the work of the revolution. But of recent, the greater malady that would rock the struggle’s boat is that of bd governance.

Shocked by the fact that leadership was helping itself with as much as 500000 dollars of funds contributed for “My Trip to Buea”, Dr David Makonge, an important figure in the struggle recently opted out, saying he would return only when the muck has been cleared. Then Chris Ebini, another stalwart, took the bull by the horns in suing the leadership I a US court over embezzlement of the struggle’s funds.

Now it is emerging that the Samuel Sako-led leadership that took over from imprisoned Sisiku Ayuk Tabe is the biggest source of the the revolution’s financial woes.

In the latest financial scandal rocking the struggle, Chris Anu, the Secretary for Communication, is mired in a 160 million bank transfer deal at Ecobak in Yaounde.

This was confirmed by none other than Tapang Ivo Tanku, erstwhile leader of the Consortium. The following post by him speaks volumes:

I have read damaging bank statements from Cameroun, detailing the financial transactions between the family members of Chris Anu in the coruse of this revolution, and revealing a whopping 160 million FCFA in the Ecobank account of Anus’ sister.

This is absolutely a shock.

1. The report is verified and truthful. Ecobank employees who are Ambazonians have ran the account number and confirmed the truth.

2. Clearly, signatures are there to show. The names are clearly spelled. The express money exchanges are clearly highlighted.

3. For a family that lives on a shoe string, with Chris Anu who could barely pay Houston rents, 160 million FCFA is an eye-raiser.

Where did the cash flow come from? What kind of business are they into? Tithes? Kidnapping? Ransom?

Cameroun was right. Chris Anu is a thief. The family milks from the Ambazonia revolution the crooked way.

From the audit report which Samuel Sako Ikome did with his IAC he declared that he used 60,000,000FCFA(Sixty Million FCFA) just to buy office papers ie A4 papers for a period of 11months.

Anyone supporting these guys please, we really want to ask you a sincere question, can you buy just A4 papers for 60million?

They feed on our revolution while our refugees, IDPs, prisoners even RFs suffer. Women sleep in bushes, give birth on plantain leaves, RFs are beaten by mosquitoes, the vulnerable have nowhere to go while they enjoy themselves.

We become so dishonest when we can't stand up and denounce corruption , embezzlement, misappropriation, mismanagement same things we denounce LRC. Which change are we fighting for then? Is this how we want to enter Buea?
