One student-One Enterprise: VINEBUM gets into motion with a peculiar vision.

By Fonban Emmanuel.

The Vocational Institute for Entrepreneurs and Business Management known by its acronym VINEBUM has opened its doors to begin receiving learners from different disciplines in life.

This was made known during an open-door day which took place at their training centre at Montée Jouvance in Yaounde last Thursday.

The open-door day ceremony chaired by the Representative of the Centre Regional Delegate of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, saw the presence of mentors and learners who came to get the package to be offered by the institution as presented by the Director, Dr. Mrs Mboh Susannash.

In an open statement, the Director of the Institution Dr. Mrs Mboh Susannash said VINEBUM is a paradigm shift which intends to project vocational training as a socio-economic lever for any emerging country.

“At VINEBUM, we build Business Attitude, Aptitude and Competence for the engineering of economic growth,” she added.

With a unique mission to train entrepreneurs, nurture their projects into sustainable businesses and provide capacity building to existing enterprises, the Director of the institution assured the participants that VINEBUM would not train people who will protest to get jobs but rather people who will create jobs using their ideas.

“VINEBUM is peculiar because our students are taught innovative ways of doing businesses. Our lectures are based on theory that is related to research results and we mix them up with apprenticeship,” said Dr. Mrs Mboh.

Taking the rostrum, the Representative of the Centre Regional Delegate of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, Mme Dang Caroline, encouraged the efforts of Dr.Mrs Mboh, reaffirming that the government cannot employ everybody and institutions as VINEBUM will help in training self-employed persons.

With a cream of courses in Entrepreneurship, Business Startups, Capacity Building and Management skills, Financial education and others, VINEBUM’s administration reiterated its commitment to mould malleable minds that can transform ideas into sustainable businesses.

“Institutions like VINEBUM empower people and make them self-reliant by creating businesses for themselves that automatically impact the national economy,” said Jean Marc Baoh, an expert in Financial Education.

As VINEBUM opens its wide doors of opportunities to the general public, their slogan “One student equal one enterprise” is the watch word.
