Rainbow FC vie for Elite 2 spot next Season....Coach Ngwa Remy.

The tremendous and mind blowing outcome of the North West regional league has been saluted on diverse fronts with many sports pundits and analysts qualifying this year’s edition as a gateway to great talent harvest.

The evolution and competitiveness with which the actors indulged in the games is a justification of their burning desire to not only give their clubs a name but equally give the region an elite 2 club cognizant of its present stance. The above elucidation points to what is the driving force behind Rainbow FC of Bamenda's dream under its head coach, Ngwa Remy. "At the league stage we qualified 1st in pool 'D' with 16 points only seconded by Hill Top Strikers FC with 10 points,"he said.

Additionally "at the regional mini interpools so far we have played 3 matches recording 3 victories scoring 5 goals as follows: ( eighth finals Rainbow 2:0 Grassland FC Grassland 0:1 Rainbow

On what makes the team tick, he quipped:

“Our success recipe is simple. We tackle our games with a high school knowledge of our opponents .It’s true the game of football calls for an apt reasoning but despite the dynamics and polemics we employ a simple match reading approach coupled with constant training and counselling sessions to make sure the players remain in top and decisive form. No one really takes glory for the performances, it’s collective team work and it’s our objective and burning desire to see that the region gets a good football history and this begins by giving her her deserved place at the Elite 2 championship.”

Ngwa Remy is not limiting the team’s ambition:

“Yes the Elite 2 championship isn’t my lone priority but as wisdom puts it while hoping for a piece of beef be happy for a slice of fish and cognizant of the fact that charity begins at home. It’s therefore imperative we start from somewhere. “

He is counting on the team’s experience to sail through.

“Before now I have participated at the mini interpools 3 times meaning 3 years invested in this decisive stage and so all I am counting on is my experience to make this work."

The club also relies on his coaching prowess to make it.

“It’s true in the game of football fans and management have a keen eye on the coaching bench to work out a miracle that can keep the club alive. The club’s participation at the 2018 mini inter-pools despite our challenges owes its successes partially to my efforts and globally to the management too. If after that we can be at the semi finals and have an upper hand mindful of the scores at the 1st leg of the games it tells well we have our belts fastened to its last hole", he added.

“We have recorded diverse challenges during our last season. We weren’t informed of the right date for the national inter-pools and just took off pretty late, the resultant effect was a characteristic low show piece we put out. It’s therefore my wish that the league communicates dates on what shall prevail for participating clubs. Besides this like many have said the much-sung peace cannot in any way see a different voice tone as I have had training sessions almost unsuccessfully for related reasons. Despite all these, we are waxing strong and we hope to give the North West region a place under the sun in relation to Elite football in the nation.”
