Man’s evolution and achievements under the face of the sun have proven fruitful owing to experiences which have and are only blended by the tussles and hustles that accompany it. Despite these achievements, the company and relations kept justify the blend and course to which many have undertaken. The above is substantiated by what befell Nforsang Francis Ngwa at his Bamenda City chemist bookshop as some media practitioners played host to a surprise birthday celebration hosted in honour and acknowledgment of his meritorious services to the community and family. The father of 3 and husband to Penntefa Ngum was taken by surprise in a highly calculated and mechanised celebration by his in-law, Penntefa Relindis. Basking in the conspicuous sun and heat of the turbulent and crisis-hit North West regional capital coupled with a contention between hope and hopelessness, the latter was pleasantly surprised when he was called in a chant of songs of merry wishes in celebration of a 41 years age attainment. To him "41 is an attestation of greatness and foretaste of achievements in advance. I am happy and overwhelmed. Indeed I planned nothing owing to the present context and from nowhere many have been trooping in to celebrate what i didn’t invest in. Their presence and joy tells it all. Many would have chosen to go about their daily hustles but chose to pass by. Not only that but at an impromptu celebration as this speaks a lot, " he said.
To him the times have been so challenging owing to the crisis. “It is therefore my hope that the clock of normalcy ticks to its final digit for life’s meaning to be better felt. I therefore remain optimistic that the days ahead may bring forth great fruits owing to the grandeur witnessed. Consequently at 42 a grand celebration will certainly be loading. If my sister in-law could team up with my wife to do this and many have come, it tells well I am a man of the people and if this has been squeezed out of nothing then something more can happen.”
The ceremony was equally attended by colleagues of the business corps, friends and other relatives.
