Ambazonia leadership tussle: Mark Bareta, Eric Tataw declared persona non grata; Sako hailed.
The battle for leadership of the putative Republic of Ambazonia is still raging on with the various factions claiming strategic roles and victories. The confused people have witnessed supposed leaders produce videos declaring one leadership or the other persona non grata.
Confused signals have been sent by activists like Mark Bareta and Eric Tataw calling on the people on Ground Zero to vomit the Interim Government, create theirs on the ground and support the back-to-school campaign waged by most well-meaning Anglophone Cameroonians.
Mark Bareta, in a video that went viral at the weekend called the Amba fighters stupid for allowing themselves to be controlled by Facebook Generals who feed fat on the Anglophone struggle and give them just peanuts to fight their ego battles. He called on the fighters to encourage school resumption so that their children should be educated and take leadership positions when the struggle succeeds. Bareta was of the opinion that over 90 percent of those abroad were likely to remain alive and she in the spoils of the struggle but less than 20 percent of Ambaboys were likely to survive the revolution. They should therefore not allow themselves to be used as puns by Diaspora-based activists to achieve their selfish aims. He also accused detained Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and Prof. Carlson Anyanwe of derailing the Ambazonia revolution through creation of the Interim government.
But in what appears as a move to set the records straight, Field Marshall of the Red Dragons came out in an audio to declare his support for the Sako-led interim Government, while castigating Bareta and Eric Tataw for dining and wining with the Biya regime and now calling for schools resumption. The Field Marshall, also known as Christopher Anumodem Fobenueh, declared the duo persona non grata in Ambazonia land, threatening to go after their families should they maintain their anti-revolution rhetoric.
He said there would be school resumption only after independence is achieved.
The Field Marshall warned that Anglophones who led prison revolts in Yaounde and Buea have been taken to unknown destinations from where they would not come back alive.
