How the Briscam Freedom Party interprets the first public statement by Emmanuel Macron on the Cameroon crisis.
"I hereby today make the world to understand that France is against the current situation in Cameroon so let Mr Biya release Kamto and co and make sure he finds a lasting solution through unconditional dialogue without preconditions. If he fails to do that, then there are further steps which should be followed"- Emmanuel Macron.
There are two important readings from this statement:
(1) The AIG led by Rev Sako has lost legitimacy because the statement of Mr. Macron indicates that France only recognises Maurice Kamto as a prisoner worth mentioning. While Sisiku Ayuk Tabe is not worth talking about and the Nera Ten are not worth talking about and France has no business with them.
France is aware of the fact that Rev Sako was behind the impeachment of Sisiku Ayuk Tabe as IP in order to grab power. So if the so-called Ambazonians do not demand the release of their leader, then why should France care about the separatist leader?
This political abandonment of the Nera Ten to their own fate is the result of the dishonourable role of Reverend Sako in the Ambazonian revolution. It is a total disgrace.
(2) The second important thing is that Mr. Macron speaks about "lasting solution through unconditional dialogue without preconditions" . This is important because Mr. Macron is the one who constructed a Maginot Line in the UNSC around the inviolable territorial integrity of LRC in order to prevent any UNSC member from discussing issues such as how to address the issues of unresolved sovereignty.
This important clarification from Mr. Macron enables the Briscam Freedom Party to reiterate its well-known position as follows:
°If France can allow the people of New Caledonia to hold a free referendum to decide their future;
°If France can hold a referendum to decide whether or not to ratify the Maastricht treaty;
°If Canada can allow the people of Quebec to hold two referenda to enable the people of French speaking Quebec to decide their future;
°If the United Kingdom can allow the people of the Falklands to hold a referendum to freely choose their future;
°If the United Kingdom can allow the people of Scotland to hold a referendum to decide their future and may even repeat it in the event of the UK's exit from the EU;
°If the United Kingdom itself can decide to hold a referendum to decide its future membership of the European Union;
°If France can hold a referendum just to decide whether or not to privatise Paris Airport;
°If the UNSC can allow people of South Sudan to hold a referendum to decide on their future;
°If the Swiss Confederation conducted as many as 10 national referenda in 2018 alone;
°If the Russian Federation can hold a referendum in Crimea to enable the people to choose their future;
Then Mr. Emmanuel Macron must contribute to a lasting solution by removing his Maginot Line in the UNSC by sponsoring a resolution which authorises a referendum in the Southern Cameroons /Ambazonia in order to enable the Anglophones to freely choose their future.
