A Call for Justice III: An Open Letter to PCC Pastors, Synod Members and PCC Faithfuls.

Let's take a panaromic view of some Projects of the PCC, today celebrated by naive supporters of Fonki and Ndive as achievements! My focus in this write-up is to decode the so-called Achievements of Deal Makers who do not care about how the next generation of leaders and Christians pay the debts they have plunged the Church into, but all they care about is their re-election for a second mandate! The financial implications of all these shady deals by Fonki and Ndive for the PCC are not only huge but it is an outright mortgage of the PCC's future to feed their greed for money and power! The PCC's debts incurred through projects are currently in the billions of CFA frs. The outstanding balances to pay contractors for just some selected projects now stand at 2 to 3 Billion and increasing! Long past the level of escaping from these Debts, we are now only left with preventing them from increasing by stopping Fonki and Ndive from negotiating future shady Deals. If we don't, then the amount might get to over 7 Billion at this rate. So it's better to stop them now before it's too late.

1. The hospital in Douala was built by the Asana administration with a signed contract for 160,000,000 frs. 60,000,000 was paid upfront as first installment from Medical Account and the contractor was to pre-finance with his own funds 50%, to be paid back when the building is completed and functioning. It was envisaged that it will generate money and pay off over time. No qualms. But the Fonki administration came in and Ndive took over from Ines - then the Era of Shady Deals began! In a few months after handing over, supplementary bills for this completed project went up to over 40 millions frs. The initial contract amount moved from 160 million frs to 200 million frs due to fake supplementary bills from Ndive’s office! It is interesting to note that presently the PCC is owing the contractor more than 100 million frs. This amount has to be paid over an unknown period of time - PCC's future mortgaged! The building presently has an increasing maintenance cost of 5 to 10 millions frs every year! What could be accounting for this high cost of maintenance? Low quality of material used or fake bills? The evidence is available, let Fonki and Ndive disclose the contract details - since only two of them know about contracts, and Babila Fochang is their "mbutuku"! There is no doubt that contracts are the cash cow of this swindler administration.

2. The building of the hospital in Yaoundé seems to have been contracted at about 750 million (figure to be crosschecked). But it should be more than that, as the initial contract amount went up before the completion of the "kitchen" in the name of a hospital building! The cost went up to 1 billion with 60-70% as debt owed to the famous Agwe contractor! Nobody knows how much Agwe the contractor has received from PCC and how much PCC is owing him or other contractors! This is unknown because, as already mentioned, Fonki and Ndive are using PCC Contracts as their cash cow. Money leaves Synod Office in the name of payments to contracts which are supposed to be pre-financed by the contractors. Every first payment goes into their personal bank accounts while pre-financed debts to contractors are on the increase! Contract details are known to no one else except Fonki and Ndive! Justice demands that when too much is being said about a Church which hitherto had a transparent and accountable Moderator and Financial Secretary then the Christians and Pastors need to know how much the Church is owing contractors on each project. It is not enough to celebrate Debt Traps as Achievements. Presbyterians who care about their Church must put their feet down for the record to be set straight, and deny shameless Deal Makers a second mandate!

3. Regarding the shopping mall in Mankon, Bamenda: PCC Treasury has paid 70 million frs for the project. At the moment the building is incomplete and abandoned by the contractor! But we were told the contract was to operate on pre-financing wherein the contractor was to build, operate and transfer (BOT) in a duration of 25 years. This Deal is known only to Moderator Fonki and Financial Secretary Ndive! But 70 million frs has been paid out upfront and PCC will receive the mall building in 25 years! Chaiiiii! PCC don suffer!!! From the contractor we hear that he is pre-financing the project but Moderator Fonki and Financial Secretary Ndive collected 70 millions frs in 2016 for that very project and he got no dime! And he equally lambasted the PCC as a church where 25 millions is paid to three officials in the following order: moderator 10.million; Financial Secretary 10.million; and Synod Clerk 5.millions, before a contract is awarded!!! One thing remains established regarding this mall project, that 70 million left the PCC's treasury in 2016 as payment for same but the contractor claims he has received no monies! Presently the project has been abandoned in an incomplete state! Still the PCC is in Debt to pay for the future. And to take over ownership only after 25 years! The evidence is available in the hands of Fonki and Ndive. They should prove the contrary rather than hiding behind silly and baseless accusations of my person.

4. The PESH Guest House owes the contractor more than 100 million frs. But you see they are not concerned about the Debts. Rather all they want you to see is what they dishonestly call Aively Achievements, for the sake of cheap campaign for reelection. God Forbid!

To conclude, let me highlight the Debts of the PCC as my warning to you all that the future of our church has been mortgaged for individual's greed for money and power. The Yaoundé "93 kitchen" Hospital owes the Contractor more than 500 million frs;

The Douala Hospital owes the Contractor more than 70 million frs ;

The Yaoundé Mfou school which is funded by two sources owes the contractor more 500 million frs. I would have wished the Education Secretary, Njie Kalle, to tell us about the contract to build the Mfou school if at all he has an idea as the HOD In charge of schools!

The Bamenda Shopping mall project is abandoned after 70 million frs is in between the contractor and the gangster leadership.

As the days are dying, I can hopefully say like Paul that I have not been disobedient to the heavenly vision. However I must accept that I have been disobedient to the hierarchy of my church, but I have done so as the only means to bring us to happy the desecration of her sacred institutions through dishonest deals. I do so consciously knowing that my detractors would have wished that I stay silent and obedient to my calling. But my calling is to serve and obey God and not a hierarchy that makes a mockery of its own vows. To remain silent in the face of all this insanity and going on would mean complacency! I refuse to be a prisoner in the very culture that gave me ministerial formation! I have adopted sacred disobedience as my lonely road to freedom and to serve my Church of today and my Church of the future - Uber PCC! May God Help my Sacred Disobedience of His militant Church. But may He grant me ever new visions of His triumphant church that I may remain obedient to her heavenly vision!
