Be responsible, marry, respect your Parents, fallen SW Chief of Cabinet’s dad tells NW youths.

Like the wailing said it all at the Saint John Catholic Church Futru, the fall of Tangwa Stephanus Lendzemo will forever create a vacuum in the hearts of many owing to his tragic exit. The fateful incident that broke the airwaves of 4th August 2019 saw life squeezed out of a man who was said to have been one of the brains behind the running of the SW administrative issues. The ghastl y car accident that saw the deceased colliding with a tree just around the Molyko area few meters away from the GCE Board premises will forever be told as the doom of recent times as hundreds pulled from across the town to bid farewell to a man who paradoxically informed none of them prior to his departure.

The synopsis of such a loss was the prompting force behind a sympathetic but yet revealing truth and word of caution granted to The Horizon newspaper shortly after his burial. To Shu Fai Tangwa, father of the deceased, "it is the will of GOD. I give him glory for what has happened...man proposes and GOD disposes. Each time you have a child you think he should bury you, but being the contrary it is a great shock. I had wanted him to be independent....".

Happening at a time when youths around the world have resorted to all forms of misrepresentation and poor comportments, it was incumbent on a man whose son once tasted administrative fame to pass a message across to youths. In this light, he insisted: "All I want for them is to be responsible, get married. If at all they can’t get a partner and settle down, have a single lady and above all listen to your parents and you will be blessed".

The words of caution from the father of the deceased to the youth were interpreted as an oblique reference to the irresponsibility of his son. Stephanus was not only on top speed before he met his doom, he was also not married.Yes he is gone and as the clergy hold "from dust he was created unto dust has he returned". It will be profit to youths to hold steadfast to the words of Shufai as they plunge into life’s endeavours.

According to a childhood friend, Sengka Stanislaus Elvis, the deceased had been a long time friend. ."We did the same things from school and almost with the same consequences and we left school together.... He had been a great guy admired by all at work....and I think if Tangwa died it’s sad but I think he lived his life as a hero and GOD decided to take him because he is good for GOD and not us".

He further added he had promised to reunite with his wife, a thing which would never be made possible except for a supernatural resurrection power.
