African Women’s football promoters tip Njoya Ajara to run away with 2019 Best African player Award.

“Ajara is the best in Africa“, is the common phrase on every lip in the continent.

According to in-depth analyst Emmanuel Buddy Mbangkollo, football promoter Angu Lesley, Nbsports.com CEO Ghanaian Women’s Football expert Nah Bardina, the 26-year-old Ajara has a greater chance of clinching the African Best Women’s player by a mile.

All fingers are pointing the direction of Nchout, and it seems the award of African Best should be given her before time.

She was top scorer for Sandsviken before moving to Valerenga this season; she scored the 2nd best goal at the World Cup; she was Africa’s top scorer at the World Cup; she scored a hat trick against Manchester United; and in the last month she has scored 7 goals in 6 matches for club and country.

Nah Bardina, the Nbsports.com CEO Ghanaian Women’s Football expert, has been following the forward and cannot hide her admiration. She told kick224. com in an exclusive that – “In the last 12 Months for club and country it has been so far, so good. She is the best in the Cameroonian team now. 15 goals for IL Sandviken out of 19 games before she came to the AWCON – where she was still the best only behind Kgatlana. She doesn’t just score, she’s all round making goals also. She deserves to be the best. Last year I expected her to be shortlisted but she wasn’t to my greatest surprise”.

“She doesn’t fear defenders at all. Talking about top 3 now, you cannot do away with Ajara. Oshoala performs well at club but not that good at country level recently and that’s where Ajara makes the difference”.

Bardina’s claims must be treated seriously as Ajara has scored 7 goals in her last 11 games competitive games for Country.

After a superb WWC on personal terms, the “defenders wicked winger’s” goal narrowly missed out on being the best goal of the competition.

According to Cameroon football promoter Angu Lesley, Nchout has done enough to deservedly replace Kgatlana.

“From her output last 12 months she deserves to be the best. She currently matches Asisat Oshoala toe to toe for the coveted award. Ajara though, has the numerical advantage at club level as she’s scored more than Asisat. Moreso, she is a supportive striker and not an out-and-out center forward like Oshoala, she deserves credit”. Ajara seems to be in front of GMT in a world of her own, scoring not just goals but creamy goals.

Her goal against Roa in the Norwegian women’s first division championship earned her the goal of the week for the second time this season.

Last season she was her club’s top scorer and the deputy top scorer in a very tough Norwegian league and this season playing mostly from a midfield role she is amonsgt the 10 best scorers in the league.

The Cameroonian has scored 34 goals for club and country in the last 12 months, this is simply amazing.

In the weeks ahead CAF will announce its nominees for the 2019 Women’s African footballer of the year award to take place in Egypt. Bookmakers have tipped Ajara as favourite not just for nomination but to take home the award.
