“It is conclusive that the presidential message might have been late but it satisfied our aspirations with the Grand National Dialogue to handle the issues that have not helped matters in three years. The announced dialogue offers time for truthfulness and sincerity with the points we shall feature for the dialogue table. By definition, dialogue is a give and take and it is hoped that we will emerge as positive and constructive people poised to chart the best way forward for development that has been stifled with the crisis to blame. I think the dialogue table will be a moment to press hard for effective decentralization to be able to ensure that local development truly becomes a matter for the grassroots playing a front role.”
