Traditional doctors give blessings to national dialogue!
One of the most representative groups in Cameroon that was not consulted ahead of the Major National Dialogue on the Anglophone Problem is the traditional doctors. But in spite of this error of omission, they have still decided to throw their weight behind the initiative.
Dr Fai Fominyen Ngu Edward, President of PROMETRA, the African network of Tradi-practitioners, told The Horizon yesterday that they had flung open their shrines where incantations for peace would be made, leading to the successful outcome of the dialogue.
He expressed the wish that their corps which treats 80 percent of pathologies would be considered during any future national debate.
