“These are very important consultations”
“I came to meet the Prime Minister for consultation ahead of the dialogue. We have had threats that we should not just pass here at all. From 1990, I have been beaten, dragged but I still stand to talk to the people. If my point of view is not taken, let me say it out. And that is why we are here today to prepare the grounds so that we should talk and give our views on how we think Cameroon should be run. These are very important consultations that will map the future of his country. Mapping the future we see before us the children. The children are the future and these are the children dying in the bushes either from both sides. I think Cameroonians should sit down and talk deep in the hearts what we think this country should look like. I will not run away because the children have threatened me. Let me come, talk and be killed than not to talk at all and let my point of view known.”
