President Biya should use his discretion to implement recommendations – Hon Pangmashi Roland of Mfou

President Biya should use his discretion to implement recommendations – Hon Pangmashi Roland of Mfoundi Constituency.

This dialogue has been so surprising because Cameroonians from all walks of life spoke from the bottom of their hearts. We looked for the best alternative methods by which we can solve the Anglophone crisis and the Boko Haram issue. We think that this dialogue should always be coming up for problem solving. The summary report given us shows a lot of determination, hard work and patriotism to resolve issues concerning our country.

The Head of State who is the father of the nation really summoned this dialogue to resolve many issues. As we were closing the dialogue he brought in another big surprise by freeing 333 Anglophones detained in connection with the crisis.

Concerning what we have tabled as resolutions we are waiting to see how the President can use his discretion to implement them and bring an end to the crisis. I think he is going to send some of them to the National Assembly if the Constitution has to be revised. Our brothers in the bushes are complaining about marginalization and no jobs. I am hopeful that these complaints will be looked into for peace to return to the NW and SW.
