Two armed robbers who raided a residence at Cassava Farm in Limbe on Monday October 15 were on Tuesday 16 October apprehended by the police.
Neighbours around the robbery incident disclosed that the attack took place very late at night, adding that they were too scared to raise alarm because the robbers were armed with guns. The robbers made away with some Television sets and other valuable electronics items.
However, a tip-off by those who witnessed the robbery soon led the police to a drinking spot where the robbers were after their loot on Tuesday October, 15. The police quickly arrested the two robbers whereupon they discovered that they carried guns. Both men have been held for interrogation. One of them is said to be a tailor.
